Take Highway 299 East towards Redding approximately 18 miles and make a left hand turn onto “Bair Road” (the exit sign actually reads “Redwood Valley”). If you see the sign for Chezem Road, you’ve gone too far and need to turn around. Follow Bair Road approximately 4 miles and keep to the left, as Bair Road turns into Stover Road. Follow the road another six miles until on the left hand side a huge wooden entry sign will appear that reads “Cookson Ranch”. Turn onto the gravel road and follow it down the hill.
